Guidance, not a quote

Everything on this site, the guides, the glossary, the comparison tables and the Fold & Fall Planner, is general guidance to help you think about window furnishings. None of it is a quote, a measurement, or advice about a specific window. No prices appear anywhere on this site; every job is priced after the measure. The planner recommends directions with reasons; the numbers that matter are taken at the in-home measure, and only the written quote we give you afterwards is an offer.

The images on this site are illustrative, generated or stock, made to show the kind of work and fabric described rather than a specific past job at a specific address. We would rather tell you that here than let a picture imply something it should not.

Accuracy

We keep the guides honest and current to the best of our knowledge, including references to Australian standards and government guidance, but standards change and rooms differ. Everything here is written for homes in and around Newcastle, NSW; a different climate or building style may want a different answer. Check the linked primary sources for anything you are relying on, and treat the measure as the place where your situation gets assessed properly.
