Curtains across Newcastle, suburb by suburb
We work out of the van and the swatch books, not a showroom, so the measure happens where the curtains will live: at your window, in your light. These are the pockets we know window by window.
Cooks Hill
Iron-lace terraces with tall sash windows a step from the footpath. The privacy-and-light balancing act, street after street.
Curtains in Cooks HillMerewether
Coastal family homes in serious sun and salt air. Sheers for the glare, linings and weaves that stand up to UV.
Curtains in MerewetherThe Hill & Newcastle East
Harbour views through big apartment glass. Dressing the window without giving up the reason you bought it.

The rest of the run
The three pages above go deep because those pockets throw up the same windows again and again. The van covers the whole metro, and each pocket has its own habits:
- Hamilton and Islington: workers' cottages and the Beaumont Street belt. Cottage windows love a pencil pleat and a light-filter; front rooms often want the day-night pairing.
- Bar Beach and the ocean edge: apartment glass in direct sea light. The same sheer-first thinking as Merewether, one street closer to the salt.
- New Lambton, Lambton and Adamstown: established family homes where bedrooms want blockout and living rooms want soft light. The bread and butter of the measure run.
- Fletcher, Maryland and Cameron Park: newer estates with wide, west-facing glass and not a tree in front of it yet. Thermal linings and double tracks do their best work out here.
- Stockton: across the water, ferry-close, full coastal exposure. Fabric and hardware get chosen with the salt in mind.
Not listed? If you are in the Newcastle metro, we almost certainly measure there. Ask through the enquiry form and we will confirm straight back.
Every suburb gets the same measure: properly, in your light, with the fabrics in hand.
